By virtue of its design, the piston valve may replace both the traditional kind of Gate and Globe valves with clear benefits over them. It is essentially a seatless and glandless valve. The Klinger Piston Valve operates on the idea of resilient rings working in tandem with a metallic stainless steel piston that slides vertically between the rings to provide a Seal that is both efficient and durable.
This sealing method produces a bubble-tight shut-off that is at least as good as Class VI leak requirements. The heart of the valves, and the sealing rings, are made of non-asbestos, tanged graphite, and graphited asbestos and are capable of handling more than 250 industrial media. For important and dangerous media, such as steam, heat transfer oils, acids, gases, and vacuum, piston valves are appropriate recommendations.
Sizes 15mm to 40mm, SW and Threaded Ends, Forged Carbon Steel/Stainless Steels to 800# Manufactured. Flanges to DIN standards 50 to 200mm, 150#, #300, and stainless steels using cast carbon steel or stainless steels.
Disc Check Valves
Disc Check Valves are recommended after traps discharging into closed systems to guarantee Non return or no reverse flow. These check valves can be mounted between pipe flanges in any direction.
DCVs feature a compact and rugged stainless steel design and are suitable for any process liquid & gas, apart from steam.
Disc Check Valves are designed to be sandwiched between flanges i.e. wafer type. They are suitable for use on a wide range of fluids for applications in process lines, hot water systems, steam, and condensate systems etc. Face-to-face dimensions conform to EN 558 part 2, series 52.
