Product Description

A Bellow Sealed Gate Valves, also recognized as a sluice valve, is a Valve that opens by raising a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the route of the fluid. Bellow Sealed Gate Valves are purposely designed to start or stop the flow, and when least flow restrictions are demanded. In operating, these Valves commonly are either fully opened or fully closed.

Advantages of Bellow Sealed Gate Valves:

  • Bellow Sealed Gate Valves are bidirectional so they can be used in two directions
  • Pressure loss through the Valves is minimal

Limitations of Bellow Sealed Gate Valves:

  • They cannot be opened or closed quickly
  • Bellow Sealed Gate Valves are not suitable to regulate or throttle flow
  • They are sensitive to vibration in the open state.
